Introduction to U.S. International Tax Compliance for U.S. Owners of Foreign Businesses
If you own a foreign business entity directly or if you own it through a U.S. entity, you may be facing a very complex web of U.S. tax reporting obligations. This presentation is a unique opportunity to learn directly from an experienced international tax attorney about these U.S. tax reporting requirements and their draconian noncompliance penalty structures. The presentation will focus on the U.S. tax compliance of individual U.S. owners of foreign businesses, and it will briefly address certain complications that may arise in the context of U.S. corporate owners of foreign businesses.
The presentation is intended to be a broad introduction of this topic to non-lawyers. At the end of the presentation, the speaker will conduct a short Q&A session.
The speaker, Eugene Sherayzen, Esq., is the founder and owner of Sherayzen Law Office, PLLC (http://sherayzenlaw.com/), an international tax law firm that specializes in U.S. tax compliance for U.S. and foreign persons.
