Working Committees

FACCMN relies on working committees to advance its mission and vision, to aid the Executive Director with operations, to support the work of the Board and promote the FACCMN brand.

Fundraising Committee

Chair: Robert Chelimsky (robert.chelimsky(@)faccmn.com)

Our Mission and Vision are our fundamentals and we need to be financially sustainable to accomplish our mission. The committee helps guides the way to financial sustainability. The majority of the giving comes from generous individuals who believe in our mission and share our vision.

Gala Committee

Chair

The FACCMN is a non-profit organization and organizes an annual fundraising Gala. The Gala has traditionally been scheduled in November, when the Beaujolais Nouveau is being released in the US. Across the country, FACC Chapters are raising their glasses to the fall season, toasting to new connections and celebrating the mosaic of members from the East to the West Coast.

Proceeds from ticket & auction sales help the FACCMN fulfill its mission as memberships alone do not suffice. In 2O18, the FACCMN fundraising Gala focused on business educational programs, J1/VIE, student & young professional internship programs.

Operating Principles:

  • Each committee is led by a Chair or Co-Chairs who reports to the FACCMN Board, and includes one or more Board Members, along with one or more Committee Members who are not on the Board.
  • The Executive Director is the ex-officio member of all 7 committees.
  • The work of all committees is evaluated for continuous improvement and advancement of our mission.
  • Beside regular on-going communication, each committee holds bi-monthly meetings and issues a report to the Board.
  • The committees operate according to the FACCMN bylaws. Organizational bylaws are available upon request.
