Join us for our upcoming events:Announcement: "Doing Business in Europe: Theory & Practice for Minnesota Companies" event, February 16th The French-American Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Minnesota Trade Office, German-American Chamber of Commerce, and University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business, announces: "Doing Business in Europe: Theory and Practice for Minnesota Companies," a seminar on international business development strategy for Minnesota companies, investors, and students. The event, which will be held on February 16 from 8:30am-1:30pm in Schulze Hall Auditorium at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business in Minneapolis, will feature many panelists including Ms. Adeline Hinderer, Deputy Head of Trade, Delegation of the European Union to the United States, Washington, D.C.; University of St. Thomas professors Dr. Peter Young and Dr. Heino Beckmann; and other exceptional executives and professionals in international business. 8:30-9am: Registration and light breakfast 9am-12:30pm: Three sessions on European Institutions in Context, Risk Management, and Tactical Approaches to Doing Business in Europe 12:30-1:30pm: Lunch catered by the University of St. Thomas Some specific topics include the political, economic, and social outlook of the European Union, as well as essential information for investors, companies, and entrepreneurs interested in conducting business in Europe. Following discussion, lunch catered by the University of St. Thomas provides students the opportunity to network and interact with panelists.
